Metro Wire Staff
Movies in the Park returns to Pfiffner Pioneer Park on June 1, bringing the community together for a family-friendly night of movies and other activities.
Hosted by Evergreen Community Initiatives, and in partnership with the Central Wisconsin Children’s Museum, this year’s movie season kicks off with the Kids Walk Wisconsin, along with a showing of “Big Hero 6”.
The movie nights begin at 6 p.m. and ends at dusk, depending on the length of the movie being shown.
The walk, part of the 14th annual Walk Wisconsin, invites children of all ages to participate in the 1.3- or 2.6-mile walk along the Wisconsin River.

The movie is one of several activities scheduled, which also includes several guided activities like the Izaak Walton League 3-D bow shoot—a popular event from last year.
Free popcorn and root beer will also be available.
