Morris M. Piotrowski, 89

Morris M. Piotrowski, 89, of Stevens Point, died Saturday, March 1, 2025, at home.

Piotrowski was born March 13, 1935, in Stevens Point, the son of the late Michael and Louise (née Windorf) Piotrowski. He attended local schools.

He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was honorably discharged.

On Nov. 14, 1955, he married Irene Feltz at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Stevens Point. She survives.

Piotrowski worked for Consolidated Papers for several years, retiring in 1994. He was a member of the American Legion Post 6.

He enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, camping, and attending sporting events.

Survivors include his children, Linda (Ernie) Wanta of Stevens Point, Sandra (Terry) Gross of Plover, Jean (Joe) Osowski of Plover, Joan (Jerry) Rucinski of Wisconsin Rapids, Judy (Mike) Grawey of Stevens Point and James (Tanya) Piotrowski of Stevens Point; one brother, Kenneth (Toma) Piotrowski of Stevens Point; one sister, Darlene Yundt of Hartland; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Michael (Pat) Piotrowski, and son-in-law, Gary Gross.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 11, at St. Peter Catholic Church, 800 Fourth Ave. in Stevens Point. The Rev. John Potaczek will officiate. Full military honors will follow the service.

Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until the time of service in the St. Faustina Room at the church.
