Monteverdi, Mikey’s partner for tribute to Broadway in 2021 season opener

The Monteverdi Master Chorale has announced its spring fundraiser.

The Cabaret “A Tribute to Broadway” will premiere as a virtual event at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 16. The ticketed event comes with the option to purchase a take-home meal from Mikey’s Bar & Grill.

Livestream tickets are $15 and take-home meal tickets, which include a live-stream link, will be $40. Ticket holders will receive a link to the performance 24 hours prior to the event.

Cabaret’s Silent Auction will also take a virtual format; this will go live on May 1st, 2021, and stay open until May 16th. Tickets and Silent Auction information are available at monteverdichorale.org.

Cabaret, under the direction of Artistic Director Cody Miller, will feature solo and group acts performing various Broadway-themed numbers, and a large group arrangement of “From Now On” from The Greatest Showman (dir. Michael Gracey).

Cabaret will be pre-recorded at John and Patty Noel’s Car Barn on River Bend Rd. in Plover, and live-streamed on YouTube.
