PLOVER – Mission Coffee House is celebrating February with special promotions and events designed to support local businesses and foster community engagement.

Owner Russ Ehlinger announced several incentives for customers, including a free first wholesale order for businesses that agree to use Mission Coffee for their workplace. Companies such as Sentry, The Inn, Muse, PJ’s, Skyward, and others currently source their coffee from Mission Coffee House.

“We are offering deals and discounts on our fresh roasted coffee to all,” Ehlinger said. “Whether you own a business or not, we have you covered.”

One of the promotions, called “BIG TEN,” offers a $10 discount on select local products. Wisconsin Mushroom Company, a new addition to Mission Coffee House’s retail lineup, is featured in the promotion. Other eligible products include Mullins Whey protein, Mission-branded merchandise, and a coffee liqueur made in collaboration with Timekeeper Distillery in Wausau.

Customers can also save $5 on a bag of coffee when purchasing items from one of 20 local makers, including Honestly Cranberry, Chet’s Blueberries, Rose-Pine, Stevens Point Sauce Company, Osprey Honey, and others. Additionally, pop-up sales throughout the month will include a $5 coupon for fresh roasted coffee.

Mission Coffee House is also hosting “The Ultimate Date Night” on Feb. 15, featuring music from Tailwater, unlimited drinks, and loaded nachos. Tickets are $40, with proceeds benefiting the Portage County Humane Society. Doors open at 6 p.m., with music from 7 to 9 p.m. Tickets can be purchased online via Mission Coffee House’s Facebook page or by scanning a QR code at the store.

Ehlinger said the events are designed to keep dollars in the community while supporting local businesses.

“We truly brand ourselves as a collaborative company, making certain both parties win,” he said. “You always support two local businesses at one time every time you make a purchase at Mission Coffee House.”

The coffee shop is also introducing “Connections Lounge,” a new evening service available Thursday through Saturday from 5 to 9 p.m. The lounge offers handcrafted cocktails, local craft beer, and wine, along with free charcuterie boards with the purchase of two cocktails.

“This is the perfect spot for a gathering after work, a private party, or simply a place to sip back and relax,” Ehlinger said.
