Missing 14-year-old girl found safe, police say

Stevens Point police say a missing Stevens Point girl has been found safe.

Cassandra Kozlowski, 14, was last seen leaving her home on the west side of Stevens Point at about 4:47 a.m. on Jan. 3.

Interim Assistant Chief Robert Kussow said Portage Co. dispatchers were notified shortly before 11 p.m. Wednesday night that the girl had been found in Wisconsin Rapids by police there.

“The Stevens Point Police Department would like to thank everyone for their help in locating Cassandra Kozlowski,” Kussow said in a Thursday morning email.
