Golfers looking to combine their love of the sport with a great cause will again have a chance this August at the Mid-State Technical College Sand Valley Golf Outing.
Now in its third year, the popular event at the world-class Sand Valley 17-hole par-3 Sandbox course in Nekoosa tees off at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 5.
Registration includes greens fees, lunch, a drink ticket, 24 raffle tickets, a mulligan, and a BBQ buffet during the event reception. All proceeds benefit a variety of Mid-State Foundation scholarships, grants, and emergency funding for students.
“This is the perfect event for anyone wanting to get out and enjoy central Wisconsin’s finest par-3 course while helping students at Mid-State achieve their dream of a college education through grants and scholarships,” said Jill Steckbauer, Foundation & Alumni director.
The deadline to register or sponsor the event is Thursday, July 9.
