Mid-State Technical College has announced a series of webinars for high school seniors facing uncertainty about their plans to start college this fall.

The college’s “Stay at Home and Stay on Track” free college planning webinars will give participants the opportunity to hear about Mid-State’s resources and transfer options and get help adapting their plans to start college and stay on track to achieving their goals.

According to Vice President of Student Services & Enrollment Management Dr. Mandy Lang, the new webinars add to the list of ways Mid-State is innovating to help students adjust to the impact of the COVID-19.

“This webinar series will provide high school seniors and other potential students information as they explore post-secondary options,” Lang said. “During this unprecedented time, student plans and family situations may have changed. Mid-State is here to help students reach their career goals without traveling far from home.”

The college has set a goal is to have students ready to celebrate their post-secondary decision on May 1. They are also waiving the application of $30 through April 30.

“The ‘Stay at Home and Stay on Track’ webinar series is just one way for students and families to experience what life is like at Mid-State and learn how our affordable class options can keep them on track in a safe environment,” Lang said.

The webinars will be offered from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. on the following dates:
