Michelle Kaye Hansen, 51

Michelle Kaye Hansen, née Abrahamson, age 51, of Plover, died May 18, 2025.

She was born July 8, 1973, in Waupaca to Roger Hansen and Barbara Abrahamson. She graduated from Iola-Scandinavia High School in 1992.

Michelle worked as a bartender at Silver Lake Lanes Bowling Alley and as a CNA at Point Manor, Whispering Pines, and Dimensions Assisted Living. She had a deep desire to care for the elderly and was known for her caring, soft-spoken nature. It was more than just a job to her.

She was a member of Highland Church, where she participated in Bible study and volunteered at the Adult Day Care. In her free time, she enjoyed playing UNO and taking her rescue dog, Kallie, for walks and to the dog park.

Survivors include her mother, Barbara (Larry) Monnot; her brother, Brian (Melisa) Hansen; and nieces, Saree, Kiley, and Daila. She is also survived by numerous extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father; her grandparents, LaVerne and Alta Abrahamson, and Russell and Lois Hansen; and uncles, Donald Hansen and William Tarr.

A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at Boston Funeral Home, with the Rev. Nathan Schroeder officiating. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
