Michele M. Firkus, 59

Michele M. Firkus, age 59, of the Town of Hull, passed away Sunday, August 1, 2021, at her home surrounded by her loving family and under the care of Compassus Home Hospice.

Visitation for Michele will be held from 4:30-7 p.m. on Thursday, August 5, 2021, at the Shuda Funeral Chapel in Stevens Point. A General Rosary will be prayed at 6:30 at Shuda’s.

Michele was born March 18, 1962, in Wisconsin Rapids, the daughter of Charles and Darlene (Stoltz) Pitsch. She moved with her family to Stevens Point while in elementary school, and she graduated from SPASH in 1980. Michele married Donald Firkus on December 2, 1989, at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church.

The couple settled in Stevens Point, where Michele served as the office manager of Stoltz Electric for 40 years. Michele enjoyed feeding the birds that visited their home, walking their dogs, being on the Green Circle, but most of all loved spending time with her family and spoiling her grandchildren.

Michele is survived by her husband Don; and their two sons: Daniel (Kait) Firkus and Zachary Firkus. Two grandchildren: Gunner and Kyla Firkus. Her mother Darlene Stoltz, her father Charles Pitsch, two nieces Hannah and Jenny Pitsch, and nephew Todd Pitsch.
