McComb, Dalton advance in District 9 primary

Polly Dalton and Mary McComb have survived the Feb. 19 primary.

The District 9 council seat was the only city office up for consideration at Tuesday’s primary election, pitting challengers Polly Dalton and Brian Beaulieu against two-term incumbent Mary McComb.

Dalton came out on top with 107 votes, followed by McComb at 77 votes. Beaulieu received 76 votes.

Pending verification of the results at Monday’s election canvas board, the two now faceoff during the spring election April.
