Mary Mullins, 59

Mary Mullins, née Higgins, passed on August 23, 2022, at home with her family.

Mary Lou Higgins was born on June 4, 1963, in Stevens Point to the late Ken and Shirley Higgins. She was so small, that she fit in a shoebox.

Mary grew up in Plover with a large family. She married Ed Mullins on April 5, 1986.

Mary was a great caregiver. She took care of both of her parents until their passing. She was like a second mother to many. Anyone who knew her could expect many pranks and laughs along the way. They also knew to beware of the puppy kisses, and how they could come from nowhere.

Mary enjoyed traveling with Ed in the “big rig” and often took their children and granddaughter, Madalyn, along for the ride. She also enjoyed playing the slots.

Her greatest wish was to see Noah’s Ark in Kentucky, which she did in 2020 when she and Ed also had electric scooter races. Her last wish was to see the ocean, so in April, with the help of many, she was able to go to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. She got to tough the ocean and sit on the beach. The family would like to thank all of those who helped her get there.

Mary is survived by her husband, Ed; daughter, Becki (Jedediah) Haehnlein; two sons, Jacob and Luke, granddaughter, Madalyn, sister, Donna (Doug); three brothers, Larry, Ron (Yvonne), and Ray (Robin), and many other family members, too many to count, who all loved Mary to no end.
