Mark L. Bailey, 70

Mark L. Bailey, age 70, of Plover passed away on Monday, October 11, 2021, at Ascension St. Michael’s Hospital in Stevens Point.

Friends and family may gather to celebrate Mark’s life from 3-5 p.m. on Saturday, October 16, 2021, at Rookies Sports Pub – 3425 Church St., Stevens Point.

Mark was born on March 15, 1951, the son of Marvin and Elsie (Fredrickson) Bailey in Cook, MN. He attended local schools in Kenosha before residing in Plover. Mark worked for McCain Foods as an electrician until he retired in 2013.

Mark loved his career and helping others with electrical work. He also loved the outdoors. Mark enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and boating with his close friends. Most of all, he enjoyed a good laugh.

Mark is survived by his daughter: Stephanie (Jerry) Dochterman, two step-children: Vickie (Josh) Gondek, and Mike (Karah) Glen, three grandchildren: Emily, Aubrey, and Avery Dochterman, four step-grandchildren: Nathan and Nick Gondek, Mason and Carson Glen, his brother Mike (Jo) Bailey, and two nieces: Jenny (and family), and Wendy (and family).

He was preceded in death by his parents.
