Marilyn C. Jurgella, 78, of Plover, passed away quietly surrounded by family on April 30, 2021, at Marshfield Medical Center, Weston, Wis.
Marilyn was born in Stevens Point to Joseph and Caroline (Lubecki) Mocadlo on May 9, 1942. She attended Maria High School and graduated in 1960. She was employed by Sentry Insurance for 22 years and CitiBank for nine years. She loved dancing with her husband, traveling extensively throughout the United States and Europe, visiting with family and friends, and solving crossword and sudoku puzzles.
Marilyn is survived by her husband of 52 years, Richard Jurgella of Plover; son, Kevin (Barbara) Jurgella of Menasha, Wis.; daughter, Rachelle (Scott) Summers of San Jose, Cali.; three grandchildren: Makenzie and Nicholas (San Jose, Cali.) and Andrew (Searcy, Ariz.); sisters Louise (Jerry) Vicker of Plover; Mindy (Kurt) Frymark of Town of Hull; Kathleen (Dan) Warren of Newton Square, Penn.; and Penny (Fred) Copps of Stevens Point. She is preceded in death by her parents, stepmother Pat, and sister Dorothea.
Funeral services will be held at Shuda Funeral Chapel, Stevens Point on Wednesday, May 5, 2021, at 11 a.m. with Father Edward Shuttleworth of St. Bronislava Catholic Church officiating.
Private burial will follow. Visitation will be held at Shuda Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, 5 May 2021 from 9-11 a.m. Shuda Funeral Chapel will be handling the funeral arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Marilyn’s name may be made to St. Judes Children’s Hospital. The family wishes to express sincere thanks to all friends and neighbors for their kindness and prayers during this difficult time. Goodbye my love, thanks for the many years of happiness.
