Margaret (Marge) A. Ruhland, 73

Margaret (Marge) A. Ruhland, age 73 of Plover, Wis., lost her courageous battle with cancer on May 27, 2018, at Hospice House in Wausau.

Marge was born November 29, 1944, in Stevens Point. She moved with her family as a child to Milwaukee. She graduated from Pulaski High School in 1962.

After working there many years, Marge retired from Wheaton Franciscan when she was 67 years old.

The light of her life was her daughter, Carla Rae, whom she lost two-and-a-half years ago.

She is survived by her brothers, Frank Zblewski, Michael (Georgia) Zblewski; and sisters, Mary Shiroda, Kathy (Darrell) Berg and Lisa (Tom) Jakusz. She is further survived by several nieces and nephews, as well as great-nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.

Marge was preceded in death by her daughter, Carla Rae, her parents Raymond and Esther (Jurgella) Zblewski, her brother John Zblewski, her brother-in-law Jim Shiroda, and her niece Jamie Bushman.

A memorial service is being held at St. Bartholomew’s Catholic Church at 10 a.m. on June 28.

Memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.

Marge will always be remembered as the oldest sister who lovingly cared for her younger siblings.

The Cremation Society of Wisconsin assisted the family with the arrangements.
