Lori Ann (née Falkowski) Krueger, 57
Lori Ann (née Falkowski) Krueger of Stevens Point, passed away unexpectedly on October 3, 2022, in the caring hands of Wausau Aspirus ICU at the age of 57.
Lori was born October 7, 1964, in Stevens Point to the late Clifford Falkowski and Joyce (Billerback) Bishop.
Lori attended local schools and graduated from SPASH in 1983. She remained in the area and worked for the Portage County Purchasing/Maintenance department, where she also made very good friends, before retiring in 2015. She also bartended part-time at Big Todd’s and Dewendy’s, as she loved chatting and making new friends. Lori was a breast cancer survivor.
Lori loved people and activities. She enjoyed being with her friends and family the most, making every occasion a big deal with her delicious homemade meals and baked goods. She spent her Sundays cheering for her Chicago Bears, loved watching Chicago Cubs baseball, shooting darts competitively and being the best “Boom Baby” cheerleader, and rocking out at Rock Fest. She also enjoyed traveling and tropical beach vacations, spending time outdoors on the farm with her husband Gary, and spoiling her two grandchildren, who she lived for.
Lori is survived by her husband, Gary Krueger, her daughter Kelly (Suchoski) Hoffman (Dennis Barth), her son, Kyle Suchoski (Brittany Walker), step-son, Timothy Krueger, and her grandchildren, Ashtyn and Azalea Suchoski and grand-puppy, Emma. She is further survived by her brother, Mark (Noreen) Falkowski, her sisters, Sharon (Paul) Riske and Kari (Niles) Yenter, nieces, nephews, and many, many great lifelong friends and family.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, parents, and first husband, Kristopher Suchoski.
Lori’s family would like to thank all the wonderful staff at the Wausau Aspirus Hospital ICU for taking such loving care of her while she was in their care.
