Lois A. Zarth, 81

Lois A. Zarth, 81, of the Town of Eau Pleine, Wis., passed away November 20, 2022, at Dimensions Living in Stevens Point.

Lois was born April 17, 1941, in Milwaukee, to Dennis and Lorraine (Bonkowski) Kluck. She grew up in West Allis and graduated from Pius XI Catholic High School (Milwaukee) in 1959.

Lois was married to Ronald Zarth on May 19, 1962, in West Allis. They both loved Wisconsin and during their 53-year marriage, they lived in Milwaukee, Wauwatosa, and Pewaukee. After Ron’s passing in 2015, Lois moved up to Central Wisconsin, an area she always loved visiting when she was younger to spend time with her grandparents and her many aunts and uncles on the family farm.

Lois was happiest spending time at home. She kept her mind sharp and some of her favorite activities included reading, playing trivia, and solving puzzles of all kinds. Lois also had a generous nature to her, which extended beyond the people in her life as she had a deep love for animals.

Lois is lovingly survived by her two daughters; Lynn (Andrew) Rothrock and Lisa (Joe) Pagliara; four grandchildren; Scott Rothrock, Suzanne Rothrock, Laura (Ethan) Pagliara, and Nicole (Ben) Dean; and one step-great-grandson, Aadyn Woyach. She is further survived by a sister, Catherine (Richard) Janowiak, a sister-in-law, Linda Kluck, and by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Lois was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Ronald, and a brother, Patrick Kluck.
