Libraries to host pressure canner gauge testing

UW-Extension Family Living Educator Sherry Daniels will provide free testing of dial gauges on pressure canners at the Rosholt and Plover branch libraries this month.

The 10-minute process will be offered only for Presto, Maid of Honor, Magic Seal, and National brand canners. Walk-ins are welcome but interested persons may call ahead to reserve a timeslot.

Dial gauges should be tested annually, according to a news release from UW-Extension.

Testing will be available Tuesday, Sept. 10, 4-6 p.m. at the Plover branch library, 2151 Roosevelt Dr. For more information, or to make a reservation, call (715) 341-4007.
