Letter: Town against countywide mask ordinance

To the Editor-

The Town Board of the Town of Plover met Wednesday evening, July 22, and discussed their reactions to the county’s consideration of a mandate to wear a mask.

After discussion, the Town Board has taken a position this decision should be left to the public—this position is not frivolous but is based on feedback from several members of the public.

Wearing a mask is a personal choice and we feel strongly our people should be respected.
