Letter: State reps need to turn down SB 55

Editor’s Note: Senate Bill 55 ends an obligation of county, city, town, and school board governments to print legal notices a Newspaper of Record, allowing them to instead post the information on their respective websites. It passed the State Senate and has been sent to the Assembly.

To the Editor-

I want the school board, city council, county, and village boards, to print their summaries in our local community newspaper. It’s our tax money being used!

Why are they so against printing it? They’ll get away with stuff we’d never know about. I like to know what’s happening.

Please do not approve Senate Bill 55.
