Letter: Joe Biden is ‘worst president of my 73 years’
To the Editor-
On June 6, 2023, Kent Hall asked me “Jody, when did the DEMS become the Party of WAR?”
“When we elected Biden” I replied.
We agreed [President] Biden has failed colossally in both domestic and foreign policy. Biden campaigned on fear in 2020. DEMS are again busy fearmongering about nonsense like Project 2025 while the rest of us are worried about Project 2024: A Democratic president complicit in genocide, signing the largest military budget in history, squandering trillions of dollars of our money on endless war/genocide while neglecting the needs of our own people.
Homelessness spikes to record levels, the minimum wage hasn’t budged in decades. Folks can’t afford a trip to the grocery store. Or auto insurance, or rent, or anything. Saying Orange Man would be worse is nuts. We already had Trump for four years. No Ukraine and Israel Wars. No sky-high inflation.
I bled for the DEMS, gave my life to them. I do not consider myself a DEM any longer.
Biden has been the worst president of my 73 years. He has made the poor elderly disabled and homeless’ lives so much worse. And the VP who lied for him for the last five years is asking us to joyfully turn the page when she is the one in power. I didn’t vote for the DEM in the presidential election of 2024. I did not leave the DEMS, the DEMS left me.
They have become the party of the Rich and Warmongers. That leaves me out.
