Letter: Former supervisor supports Lukas

To the Editor-

Portage County has been blessed with some of the finest sheriffs that we could hope to have.

Mike Lukas is at the top of that class. He has implemented so many great programs to help keep Portage County a great place to live. During these tumultuous times, it is so refreshing to have someone who is non-political.

With the experience that I have had with being County Board Supervisor and Town Board Supervisor for 35 years, my communication with Mike has been positive with every concern that we have had to bring to his attention. That is why I would ask you to vote for Mike Lukas for sheriff.
