Letter: Beaulieu has deep roots, best choice for District 9

To the Editor-

Brian Beaulieu is a native son who models strong positive values and is ready for exemplary service to the community of his roots.

It is rare that native young adults remain in their birth cities which makes Brian a most valued homeowner and citizen.

Brian’s ancestry in America dates as far back as the 1600s and his family settled in the Stevens Point area during the city’s infancy in the mid to late 1800s. Brian and both of his parents were born in Stevens Point, paid taxes for years as citizens, attended church here, and supported the Catholic and public schools. This gives him deep roots.

Tuesday, 6 April 2021 the citizens of District 9 have the opportunity to choose sound fiscal accounting, a balanced budget, more affordable housing for seniors and families, and safely maintained roads and parks. You have the chance to choose loyalty, strength of character, discipline, constancy, and a path back to good judgment and decision making. You have the chance to choose one of our own!
