Karen L. Groholski, 75

Karen L. Groholski, 75 of Stevens Point, passed away Sunday morning August 1, 2021, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Visitation for Karen will be from 1-3 p.m. on Saturday, August 7, 2021, at the Shuda Funeral Chapel, 3200 Stanley St. in Stevens Point. A private burial will be in the Guardian Angel Cemetery.

Karen was born February 26, 1946, in Stevens Point, the daughter of Harold and Isabelle (Fitzmorris) Warner. She graduated from P.J. Jacobs High School in 1964. She married Ernie Groholski on February 27, 1965, in Stevens Point. Ernie passed away in 1990. Karen worked at Sentry Insurance for 20 years retiring in 1984. She was a life-long Cubs fan, enjoyed traveling, gardening, and visiting with friends and family.

Karen is survived by her two children: Chris Groholski, Madison, and Anne (Scott) Kiefer, Stevens Point. Three step-grandchildren: Christopher, Daniel, and Donny: WI Rapids. Two brothers: Jack Warner, Stevens Point, and Bruce (Jan) Warner, Bancroft. Three sisters: Barbara (Bob) Lepper, CA; Sandie (Ron) Ledvina, Luxembourg; Peggy (Bob) Clemens, Plover. Lois Warner, sister-in-law, New Mexico.
She was preceded in death. by her parents, her husband Ernie, her brother Richard, her sister-in-law Pauline, her significant other Jerry Drexler.
