Joy A. Cummings, 84

Joy A. Cummings, age 84, of Stevens Point passed away on Wednesday, February 2, 2022, at Sylvan Crossings in Stevens Point.

Joy was born in Stevens Point on August 21, 1937, to Walter and Ruby (Philbrick) Lepper. She attended local schools in Stevens Point.

She married Forrest Cummings on February 11, 1956, and they would have been united in marriage for 66 years this month.

Joy loved sewing and needlepoint. Joy also had carpentry skills. She and Forrest built three homes during their marriage.

Joy is survived by her husband Forrest, three children: Roxanne (Tom) Brazier, Texas; Rhonda Cummings, Fla.; and Roland “Chipper” Cummings, Stevens Point.

Joy was preceded in death by her two children Rodney and Randy.

There will be a private burial for Joy at Forest Cemetery.
