Jeanette Enerson, 90

Jeanette Enerson, age 90, passed away at Maple Ridge Memory Care of Plover on June 26 under the care of Compassus Hospice after a long and courageous battle with dementia due to a stroke in 2017.

Jeanette was born on April 16, 1932, in Madison. She was the daughter of the late Harold and Margaret Almusin.

She graduated from Lincoln High School in Wisconsin Rapids in 1950. She married Wayne Enerson on June 25, 1955. They were married for 57 years until Wayne’s passing in 2012. She loved traveling with her husband and enjoyed many winters in Arizona with family and friends. Jeanette enjoyed reading, and bicycling and was an avid golfer, Brewers, and Packers fan.

As her son, I cannot express how extremely fortunate I was to have such a loving, caring, and supportive mother and friend. She was someone I could always talk to and she was always there for me. I will miss you dearly Mom. Your suffering is over and this is a celebration of your life. You have fought the good fight and have been faithful to the end. Now you will be in God’s home with dad and all your friends.

Jeanette is survived by son Tom (Jan), granddaughters Courtney (Nick) DiFulvio, Lindsay Zakrzewski, and great-grandson Benedict DiFulvio who Jeanette affectionately referred to as “The Baby.” She was preceded in death by her husband Wayne and her parents Harold and Margaret Almusin.

The family would like to thank the caregivers at Compassus Hospice and Maple Ridge Memory Care for their outstanding care and compassion during Jeanette’s journey.
