Jazz sessions return to Scarabocchio

The Central Wisconsin Symphony Orchestra and Smith Scarabocchio Art Museum have announced the first Scarabocchio Jazz Listening Session of the season.

The dynamic duo Erin Krebs and Jeff Johnston will perform on Tuesday, Nov. 26 at 7 p.m. Krebs is known for her outstanding vocals, ranging from sultry jazz stylings to bebop scat to belting out the Blues. Jazziz Magazine described Krebs as “a best-kept secret of her native Wisconsin.”

Krebs was awarded the WAMI (Wisconsin Area Music Industry) Female Vocalist of the Year for 2019 and in 2018 the Erin Krebs & Jeff Johnston Duo were recognized as the 2018 Jazz Artist of the Year. Although Krebs focuses on performing alongside guitarist Johnston, she also teaches private woodwind, voice, and piano lessons.

Admission for is a suggested donation of $10 for adults and $5 for students with an ID. Refreshments will be provided.
