Hunter safety course returns to Rosholt in May

ROSHOLT – The Portage County Sheriff’s Office will offer an in-person hunter safety course next month at Rosholt High School.
Classes will be held in the school’s choir and music room from 4 to 7 p.m. on May 12, 13, 15, and 19. A required field day will be held from 8 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 17, at the Dewey Shooting Range.
The course costs $10 and is open to the public. The material is designed for students ages 11 to 12 and older.
