Hull announces one-time brush pick-up

By Patrick Lynn

The Town of Hull will hold a special storm brush clean-up for residents on Monday, Aug. 5.

The pick-up is designed to assist residents unable to transport debris from the July 20 storm to the town’s yard waste site at 4550 Wojcik Memorial Dr.

The branch clean-up will begin at 6 a.m. on Monday, August 5. The crew will go through the town one time only, according to a news release from the town.

“Bringing branches to the yard waste site is the quickest way to rid your yard of branches,” the release reads in part. “We still encourage you to do that.”

The yard waste site will be open Monday and Thursday, 1:30-6:30 p.m., and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Residents who are still without power and welcome to come to the town municipal building, 4550 Wojcik Memorial Dr, for air conditioning, water, or to charge electronic items like cell phones and iPads.

Town offices can be reached at (715) 344-8280.
