In addition, she is survived by a niece, Mary (Kresh) Klenk; a nephew, Ted Kresh, both of whom she helped raise. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and two step-great-grandchildren. Helen also leaves behind a sister, Martha Schulfer.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Ben, on December 14th, 1995; a son, Bill in 1982; a son, Jim, in 2002; a sister, Irene (Kresh) Wayerski; brothers Frank Kresh and Joseph C. Kresh; and a great-granddaughter, Rose, in 2015.
Per her wishes, no services will be held and burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, Helen’s wishes were for any donations received to be sent to St. Jude Children’s Hospital. Donations can also be made directly to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
Those we love don’t go away, they walk beside us every day, unseen, unheard, but always near, still loved, still missed, and very dear.
The family would like to thank the caregivers of Inclusa and Compassus Hospice for their wonderful care.
