Hard Rocks Hiking Challenge coming to Standing Rocks Park

The Hard Rocks Hiking Challenge will be held on Saturday, Sept. 25.
The annual, non-competitive hiking challenge, sponsored by Active Portage County, will be held at Standing Rocks Park, 7695 Standing Rocks Rd. Registration opens at 7 a.m.
Participants can choose between a rocky 8K (5.2-mile), difficult 13K (8.3-mile), or 16K (10-mile) hiking challenge.
Well-marked routes, comfort stops along the way, and brunch at the finish line will be provided. Event organizers are asking for no strollers or pets.
Early bird registration will be $20 through Sept. 3, and $30 afterward. Online registration will close on Sept. 17.
Commemorative, long-sleeved t-shirts will also be available for purchase through Sept. 3.
