Metro Wire Staff

A folk music concert featuring singers from two Wisconsin bands will be held at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point this month.

Adam Greuel of Horseshoes and Hand Grenades and Sarah Vos of Dead Horses will perform together in The Encore Room on Nov. 23. Showtime is at 8 p.m.

Both are vocalists in popular folk/Americana bands and often tour together. Their songs share similar messages, tones, and stories of personal experiences from traveling across the country.

Greuel is an alumnus of UW-Stevens Point, where he and his friends formed Horseshoes and Hand Grenades. The band has been touring since 2013.

Vos is an Oshkosh native and vocalist for the Milwaukee-based band Dead Horses.

Tickets must be purchased at the door for $10 for the general public or $5 for students with UW-Stevens Point I.D.

The Encore Room is located in the Dreyfus University Center, 1015 Reserve St., Stevens Point.
