Metro Wire Staff

Applications are now being accepted for the Wisconsin Tomorrow Small Business Recovery Grant.

The program will award $420 million to small businesses impacted by the pandemic through the Wisconsin Dept of Revenue in collaboration with the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation.

The grant will provide an award of $5,000 to as many as 84,000 small businesses in Wisconsin that have annual gross revenue between $10,000 and $7 million. The money can be used for any business operating costs, including but not limited to wages, rent, mortgages, inventory, and health and safety improvements.

Business owners that have already received a We’re All In Small Business Grant are still eligible as long as their business meets the criteria.

All applications must be submitted by Monday, June 7 at 4:30 p.m. The application process should take no more than 15 minutes to complete after gathering any resources necessary.

Applicants will receive an email from DOR indicating approval or denial and will have until June 23 to resolve any issues. Payments will be issued by June 30.
