Girl Scout troops donate to St. Mike’s

Girl Scouts from three Portage Co. troops last week delivered gift baskets to the maternity ward at Aspirus Stevens Point Hospital, also known as St. Michael’s Hospital.

The troops involved were Stevens Point Troops 6260 and 6106, and Almond-Bancroft Troop 6149.

Scouts dropped off the baskets for baby girls born at Aspirus throughout Girl Scout Week, which is March 12-18.

The baskets were filled with items that the Scouts donated, or purchased through fundraising, including bibs, soaps, books, stuffed animals, diapers, pacifiers, quilts, afghans, and other items.
