Ginger M. Grant, 73

Ginger M. Grant, age 73, of Stevens Point, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 1, 2024, at the House of the Dove in Marshfield.

Ginger was born on June 16, 1951, in Milwaukee, the daughter of the late David and Audrey (née Kluck) Mielke.

A devoted mother, Ginger loved her family and did everything she could for her children. She was a private person, but those who knew her well were familiar with her fondness for the Serenity Prayer, which was always displayed somewhere in her home: “God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and wisdom to know the difference.”

She is survived by her children, Michael Grant, Kevin Grant, Keith Grant, and Michelle Grant; three granddaughters; one grandson; and her sisters, Betsy Franke, Debbie Klotz, and Renee Klingbiel. She is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, William Mielke.

A celebration of Ginger’s life will be held at Iverson Park on Sunday, Aug. 18, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
