Germaine C. Woyak, age 79, of Stevens Point passed away Monday morning October 25, 2021, at Maple Ridge Memory Care in Plover.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Germaine will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 30, 2021, at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will be in the McDill Cemetery. Friends and relatives will gather to share memories from 4-6 p.m. Friday at Shuda Funeral Chapel, 3200 Stanley St. A general rosary will be prayed at 6 p p.m. at Shuda’s. Visitation will also be held from 10:30 a.m. until the time of services Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Germaine was born January 5, 1942, in Stevens Point, the daughter of Carl and Christine (Ostrowski) Hintz. She graduated from Maria High School in 1960.

She married Erv Woyak Jr on May 11, 1963, at St. Joseph, the couple settled in Stevens Point and raised their family. Erv passed away in an accident on October 29, 1992.

Germaine married Michael Woyak on March 11, 1995, at St Joseph Parish.

Germaine worked as assistant manager at Kmart for 25 years and finished her working career at American Greetings, retiring in 1993. She enjoyed camping, trips to Las Vegas, and taking daily eight-mile walks. Most of all Germaine loved to spend time with family and friends.

She is survived by her husband Mike and her three children: Michael (Diane) Woyak; Cheryl Woyak; Jenny (Mickey) Flisakowski. Five grandchildren: Sami Woyak, Mackenzie and Heather Woyak, Evan Sniadajewski, and Claire (Jake) Luedke. Great-grandaughter: Harper. Two brothers: Dennis Hintz and Maynard Hintz. Her sister: Ruthie Konop. She was preceded in death by her parents and her first husband Erv.
