STEVENS POINT – Frame Memorial Presbyterian Church has surpassed a milestone this year, awarding more than $250,000 through its Community Mission Grants program.
The program, launched in 2002, distributes annual awards to about 15 nonprofit organizations that serve Portage County residents. Grants are intended to meet basic needs or help people develop new skills.
The 2025 recipients will be recognized during the church’s annual Mission Fair on Oct. 5 from 10:45 to 11:45 a.m. at Frame Memorial, 1300 Main St. The public is invited to learn more about how area nonprofits support the community.
“One of the most exciting parts of the Mission Fair for me is to see the grant recipients network and collaborate with each other,” said Teresa Timerman, chair of the church’s Mission Committee.
