First State Bank launches holiday giving program to support local kids

STEVENS POINT — First State Bank has partnered with the Boys & Girls Club of Portage County for its annual Share the Joy Holiday Giving Program, inviting the community to help fulfill holiday wishes for local children in need.

Community members can participate by selecting an ornament from the Giving Tree at the bank’s Stevens Point location at 5500 Carrie Frost Drive.

Each ornament lists a specific wish for a child. Donors are asked to purchase a new, unwrapped gift that fits the listed needs and return it to the bank by Dec. 13.

The program will provide holiday cheer to children who might otherwise go without gifts during the holiday season.
