Festival of the Arts coming to Plover on Sunday

The Stevens Point Area Festival of the Arts is coming to Plover this weekend.

Now in its 49th year, the annual festival features art from more than 50 professional artists located across the nation.

Each artist will have a mini gallery space. Attendees can purchase art onsite and met the artists. Art mediums will include paintings, sculptures, ceramic leather, printmaking and more. Judges will be present to award six winners.

The event will also include an art raffle.

Proceeds from the event go towards art education and local art organizations.

Admission is free. The event is Sunday, April 2, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Artist & Fare, 1800 Plover Rd., in Plover.
