Faye Ann Kaminski, 72

Faye Ann Kaminski, 72, of Stevens Point, passed away Oct. 20, 2025, at home.

Faye was born Aug. 16, 1953, in Stevens Point, the daughter of the late Walter and Muriel (née Westrom) Kaminski. She attended local schools and graduated from P.J. Jacobs High School before earning a bachelor’s degree in education from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.

She worked for 45 years as a claims adjuster at Sentry Insurance in Stevens Point and Arizona, retiring in 2015.

Faye will be remembered for her love of family and friends. She enjoyed listening to oldies music—especially the Beatles—and attending sporting events, including UWSP and SPASH men’s hockey and UWSP women’s basketball. Her hobbies included photography and watching The Bachelor, The Bachelorette, and Dancing with the Stars with her sister.

She was a member of the Elks Club, where she volunteered and was named Elk of the Year. Faye also enjoyed dining out with friends at favorite local spots, including Culver’s, Olympia, Legacy, Final Score, and Point After.

She is survived by her sister, Muriel Schulist; sister-in-law, Janet Kaminski; and many beloved nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Earl and David Kaminski; brother-in-law, David Schulist; and sister-in-law, Paulette Kaminski.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
