Eunice Prymek, 78

Eunice Prymek, née Jukkala, 78, died Wednesday, March 6, 2025, at home, surrounded by her family, after a long battle with pulmonary fibrosis.

Eunice was born June 19, 1946, in Houghton, Michigan, to Leonard and Elmi Jukkala. She graduated from Houghton High School.

She married Ronald Prymek on Dec. 19, 1988, in Bessemer, Michigan. They later settled in Stevens Point.

Eunice enjoyed traveling on the Harley with Ron, especially through the mountains out west. She also liked walking by the river and fishing from the boat.

She cherished time with her family and loved visits from her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Ronald; her daughter, Sherry Vuorinen Elkins; her sons, Brian (Cindy) Vuorinen and Scott (Kristi) Vuorinen; her grandchildren, Travis Vuorinen, Samantha and Douglas Elkins, Kyle and Alex Vuorinen, Sierra (Sam) Hess, and Alice and Lukas Vuorinen; and her great-grandchildren, Savanna, Priscilla, Michelle, Jax, Seda, Senna, Valerie, and Cynthia. She is also survived by her siblings, Bill Phillips, Helen Laux, Paul Jukkala, Linda Watson, and Dave Jukkala.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Ronnie; and a sister, Mary.
