Dorothy P. Wayer, 84

Dorothy P. Wayer, 84, of Stevens Point, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Sunday, February 28, 2021.

She was born on July 21, 1936, in Bevent to the late Walter and Proxceda Grulkowski. On July 13, 1957, her marriage to John Wayer Jr. took place at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Galloway.

She enjoyed spending time outdoors, going on power walks and always had a friendly smile and kind word for everyone, and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her daughters, Linda (Dave) Wojtalewicz of Stevens Point and Lori (Dave) Norrgran of Plover; sons, James (Anna) Wayer and Jeff Wayer both of Stevens Point; grandchildren, Justin (Larecia) Wojtalewicz, Nathan (Kimm) Wojtalewicz, James Wayer Jr., Amanda Wayer, Austin and Wesley Norrgran; two great-granddaughters, Aubrey and Zuri; and two great-grandsons, Adam and Finnley.

She was preceded in death by her husband.

A special thanks goes out to the Hospice care team and Copperleaf for their compassion and support shown for our mom.
