Darrell Wade Welzenbach, 55

Darrell Wade Welzenbach age 55, of Amherst, Wisconsin, unexpectedly passed away of heart complications on Dec. 20, 2022.

Darrell was born in Washington State, spent his younger years in Montana, then moved to Wisconsin with his family when he was in high school. After graduation, he lived in the Minneapolis area where he enjoyed a career in home construction before returning to reside in Wisconsin.

Darrell had a love of music and was also a contemporary ink artist who enjoyed sharing both music and his art pieces with friends and family. He was a loyal friend, loved children, and was a proud uncle.

He is survived by his father, David Welzenbach, his siblings Craig (Sandra) Welzenbach, Dawn (Kasey) Voss, Wendy (Ralph) Lee, and Cheri (Scott) Ritter plus his nieces Ingrid Ritter, Evan Voss, and Greta Ritter, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, mainly residing in Montana.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Bertha Welzenbach (née Pederson), paternal grandparents Karl and Laura Welzenbach, and maternal grandparents Severin and Palma Pederson.
