Darlene Esther Jurgella, 72

Darlene Esther Jurgella, age 72, passed away July 24, 2022, in Milwaukee.

Darlene was born to Joseph and Mary (Pestka) Jurgella on June 15, 1950, in Stevens Point. She attended local schools throughout her childhood and was competitive in softball.

Following high school, she worked for Blue Cross Blue Shield in Milwaukee, and later on, she worked for Travel Guard in Stevens Point. Throughout her life, she enjoyed participating in athletics and spending time with her family and friends.

Darlene is survived by her brother, Richard Jurgella, sister, Mary Ann Lepak, and many nieces and nephews.

Darlene is preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Joseph Jr., William, and Raymond, and a sister, Dorothy.

Funeral Services for Darlene will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, August 5, 2022, at Shuda Funeral Chapel, 3200 Stanley St., Stevens Point. Rev. Eric Mashak will officiate. Burial will be held at Guardian Angel Cemetery.

Friends and family may gather to share memories from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service on Friday at the Funeral Chapel.
