Darlene A. Nagorski, 74
Darlene A. Nagorski, 74, of Plover, Wisconsin, passed away on Tuesday, July 20, 2021, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
She was born August 29, 1946, in Stevens Point, a daughter of Benedict W. and Ruth A. (Bellinger) Kosobucki. She graduated from P.J. Jacobs High School.
Darlene married Kenneth “Shorty” Nagorski on August 2, 1974, in Stevens Point. She held various jobs throughout her life around the area. She resided in Plover with her loving husband, Kenneth, granddaughter Kenna, and constant companion but “not her dog,” Duke.
In retirement, Darlene found pleasure playing bingo, going to the casino, watching sci-fi movies, and volunteering at the Salvation Army Hope Center. Darlene would tell you her greatest joy was her family. She was happiest when she was able to spend time with them, creating memories.
Darlene is survived by her loving husband Kenneth; her daughters Laurie Rossier, Stacy Reinwand, and Loretta Nagorski; her son David Riske; 14 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by her siblings; Michael (Mary Kay) Kosobucki, James (Sally) Kosobucki, Kathleen Kosobucki, Stephen Kosobucki, and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, Benedict and Ruth, and one great-grandchild. Darlene will be greatly missed by her family and friends but is now pain-free and at peace.
A Remembrance and Celebration of Life will be held at the Pisarski Community Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 2911 Plover Rd., Plover, from 4-7 p.m. on Wednesday, July 28, 2021, followed by a service at 7 p.m.
