Daniel J. Iwanski, 69

Daniel J. Iwanski, of Plover, passed away peacefully in his home on Sept. 24, 2025, at the age of 69.

Daniel was born May 29, 1956, in Milwaukee, son of the late Leonard and Lucy (née Yetka) Iwanski. He grew up in the Amherst area where he helped his father on the family farm.

After high school, Daniel continued his education and earned an associate degree which he used as a computer operator. He dedicated his entire working career to one company, Nationwide Insurance.

Daniel led a life with one priority — family. He worked hard to support his family while also enjoying all of his favorite pastimes with them. Whether it was sitting around a campfire or around a table playing cards and dice, he loved time with his family. He also enjoyed the simple pleasures of being in the country, hanging out on a lake, or just driving around, taking the backroads, of course. Daniel also enjoyed road trips, motorcycling, trips to the casino, vacations with his daughter, and the Green Bay Packers.

Daniel was a loving father, brother, son and uncle. While he loved to spend time doing everyday things with his family, he was also willing to jump in and help others whenever he could, no matter the distance. Daniel had his own goofy, unique way about him and his friends and family loved him for it. He leaves a legacy of love, laughter and thoughtfulness, and his easygoing nature and deep consideration for others will be sorely missed.

Daniel is survived by his daughter, Dawn Lutter (Ben); his sisters, Linda Lila (Rod) and Cheryl Janowski (Jon); and his brother, Allen Iwanski (Jennifer). He is further survived by nieces Tara Lemmens (Derek), Nikki Kuklinski (David), Kendra Kraemer (Michael), and Allyson and Keira Janowski; nephews Jacob and Nathan Iwanski and Aaron Janowski; and great-nephews.

Daniel was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Lucy.

For those wishing to express their sympathies, the family kindly requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the family to be used toward a memorial for Daniel in the future.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 3, 2025, at Shuda Plover Funeral Home, 2400 Plover Road, Plover. Friends and family are invited to gather and share memories at the funeral home at 11 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will follow at the Village of Plover Cemetery.
