Daniel “Danny Adams” Adamczak, 88

Daniel “Danny Adams” Adamczak, 88, of Plover, died April 9, 2025.

He was born Feb. 27, 1937, in Plover to the late Bernard and Regina (née Kruzitski) Adamczak.

Danny married Margaret (née Literski) on July 26, 1958, at St. Mary’s Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Fancher. He often said she spoiled him rotten until her passing on March 9, 2017.

He held a variety of jobs before working for 25 years at Foremost Foods in Plover. Throughout his life, Danny enjoyed keeping his lawn perfect, traveling, visiting casinos, watching sports, listening to music, and most of all, spending time with family and friends.

He was deeply loved by his five children: Patti Newby; Danette (Jim) Borski; Brett (Donna) Adamczak; Carla (Tom) Wrycza; and Bart (Carol) Adams. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, two sisters, Geraldine Ross and Ramona Firkus; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; five siblings; a son-in-law, Jim Newby; and a granddaughter, Jessica Newby.

The family extends a special thank-you to the 5th floor staff at Aspirus Stevens Point Hospital.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at St. Bronislava Catholic Church in Plover. The Rev. Arturo Vigueras will officiate. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.

Visitation will be held at the church on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of service.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
