County updates hours for COVID testing site

Portage County Health and Human Services announced updated hours of the free COVID-19 testing provided at the Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC), also known as The Lincoln Center, at 1519 Water St.

Testing will be available on Mondays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Thursdays from 1-5 p.m. beginning on March 15 and continuing through April.

Updates for the testing hours, to include weather-related closures, will be posted on the Portage County Division of Public Health Facebook page.

Motorists are asked to enter the ADRC parking lot from Arlington Pl., turning south onto Elk St. The entrance will be clearly marked.

Participants are encouraged to preregister using COVID Connect for all testing days. Test results will be provided via email or telephone within 3-7 days after the test is conducted.

Testing is available to all Wisconsin residents who are at least 5 years old and are experiencing symptoms related to COVID-19 or are identified as a close contact to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19.
