County seeks citizen member for HHS Board

Portage County is seeking a citizen member to serve on its Health and Human Services Board.

The applicant must be a recipient, now or in the past, of the county’s HHS services, or be the family member of someone who has. The position received a per diem and mileage.

The vacancy was created by the death of citizen-member James Clark.

The position is a three-year appointment, selected by the County Executive and confirmed by the County Board of Supervisors.

The HHS Board is comprised of six county board supervisors and three citizen members. Appointees must be at least 18 years old and a resident of Portage Co.
