The Second City is returning to Stevens Point in March, part of CREATE Portage County’s spring lineup.

This year’s show, “Laughing for All the Wrong Reasons” will take place Saturday, March 14 at 7:30 p.m. at the Sentry Theater, 1800 North Point Dr.

The Second City is home to a world-class entertainment company, continuing to produce premier talent in all three of its locations—Chicago, Toronto, and Hollywood—and entertaining more than one million audience members a year. From Steve Carell to Keegan-Michael Key, Stephen Colbert to Tina Fey, Chris Farley to Mike Myers, Second City’s imprint is all over film, television, and beyond.

Other spring offerings include:

• IDEA Music: The Oxleys with Tom West. Live music in an intimate setting. Get close with the
musicians and experience the stories behind their songs. Friday, March 6, 6:30 p.m. at the IDEA
Center, 1039B Ellis St.

• Spectral Film Festival. Independent, underground, and spectacular. A community-driven film festival
showcasing top-notch indie film from around the world, held April 2-4.

• Still Rendering: CREATE’s 48-Hour Film Fest. Gather your team to produce the best movie you can in just 48 hours. The event begins Friday, April 24 at 6 p.m., with a public screening Sunday, April 26 at 7 p.m.

• ArtsWalk & Mass Guitar Incident. Local visual artists display their work in a landscape filled with live
music, dance, and poetry throughout the day, which closed out with the Mass Guitar Incident. The event, now in its 10th year, welcomes guitar players of all styles together to play the same music in Mathias Mitchell Public Square, on Friday, May 15, 5-8 p.m.
