Comedian, Wisconsin native Pete Lee to perform at UW-Stevens Point

Pete Lee, a comic featured on “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon,” will perform at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point next Friday, Feb. 2.

The Janesville native will perform at 8 PM in the Laird Room of the Dreyfus University Center. Tickets are $5 for the general public at the door or free for UW-Stevens Point students with I.D. The show is sponsored by UW-Stevens Point’s Centertainment Productions.

Now living and performing in New York City, Lee has packed venues at more than 500 colleges and universities across the country since the airing of his Comedy Central Half Hour Special.

He was voted a standout performer at the Just for Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal, and was a semi-finalist in NBC’s “Last Comic Standing.”

Lee has been a cast member of VH1’s “Best Week Ever,” FUSE TV’s “Video on Trial” and NFL Network’s “Top 10’s.”
